This year Loose Tea Music Theatre is joining the Queen’s University Watershed Festival as their Brockington Visitor to speak about our new non-binary pirate opera, Borderless. We will also be running a symposium on artist-centered policies in music theatre.

Loose Tea artists join this year’s Watershed Festival to tell us about their most recent project, Borderless, which is structured around gender fluidity and the non-binary. Loose Tea Music Theatre’s Founder and Producer Alaina Viau will also talk about frameworks she has developed for safe and compassionate creation processes that decolonize and dismantle hierarchical practices.
